Is Tomorrowland Coming to Melbourne in 2026
Attendees strolling towards the CORE stage at the Tomorrowland festival in Belgium over the weekend noticed something significant: a placard announcing that Tomorrowland will return to Melbourne in November 2026.

According to a TikTok video, a map of the world on a banner covering a fence at the festival showed markers for Melbourne in November 2026 and Los Angeles in May 2026, indicating two widely anticipated new destinations.

Details about probable dates, lineups, and venues have not yet been revealed.  If Tomorrowland comes to Melbourne in 2026, it will be the festival's first time in Australia.

Tomorrowland has already had events in the United States, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, and it is rumored that the festival may return to Thailand in 2026.

At the time of writing, it was unclear whether Australia would receive the whole Tomorrowland festival experience or only the CORE stage.

Tomorrowland debuted the CORE stage at its main festival in Boom, Belgium, in 2017, and it has since appeared in Brazil and at Tomorrowland Winter in the Alpe d'Huez ski resort in France.

CORE held standalone events in Tulum, Mexico, in 2023 and Medellín, Colombia, in 2024.  Vintage Culture, Maceo Plex, Disclosure, Dixon, Paul Kalkbrenner, Agents of Time, and more artists have all performed on the CORE stage.

Stay tuned to Tomorrowland's social media sites and website for updates on its Melbourne expansion.

Weekend one of this year's Tomorrowland, which took place last weekend, was ravaged by a fire that ripped through the festival's main stage 48 hours before it was scheduled to begin in Boom, Belgium.  However, thanks to some "incredible teamwork," a makeshift main stage was constructed, and the festival proceeded.

This year's Tomorrowland event featured performances by Anyma, Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren, Darren Styles, and many other artists.

Tomorrowland is one of the world's largest and most iconic music festivals, known for its spectacular stage designs, impressive lineups, and immersive atmosphere.  Tomorrowland was named the World's No. 1 Festival in the DJ Mag Top 100 Festivals poll for 2023.  The event celebrated its twentieth anniversary in 2024.
