Davina McCall Undergoes Brain Surgery Following Tumor Discovery: 'Please Pray for Me
According to Davina McCall, she will soon have surgery to remove a benign brain tumor.
The Masked Singer judge and TV host will undergo surgery to remove a benign brain tumor measuring 14 mm that was found during a recent medical scan.
McCall clarified in a recent video that she uploaded to her Instagram account: "Hey, so I'm publishing this it will be Friday morning. I'm doing it because, a few months back, I gave a menopausal presentation for a firm, and in exchange, they offered me a health scan. I assumed I would kill it, but it turned out that I had a very uncommon benign brain tumor called a colloid cyst.
According to McCall, she initially placed her "head in the sand" after learning about the tumor, but she later sought guidance from neurosurgeons and received differing views.
She remarked, "I realized that I have to get it taken out." It fills the room and is large for the area. Its width is 14 mm. And it must be removed since it would be harmful if it spread.
To remove the cyst, the presenter will have a craniotomy, a surgical procedure in which a portion of the skull is removed to gain access to the brain.
"For me, say a prayer," she said. "I'm feeling upbeat."
