More London Tube Sections Now Have 5G and 4G Coverage

TfL has announced that mobile phone coverage has been expanded along more of the London Underground system.
Further portions of the Northern and Victoria lines now have connectivity to 4G and 5G.
TfL announced that other stations and tunnels, including King's Cross St Pancras, Green Park, and additional Victoria line stations, will open in the coming months.
The mayor of London had pledged that passengers would have full mobile coverage across the network by 2024; however, this has been pushed back until at least 2026.
TfL said that coverage has been expanded along the Northern line, including the tunnelled portion between Balham and South Wimbledon, as well as the stations at Kennington, Oval, Tooting Broadway, and South Wimbledon.
Passengers in south London traveling along the Northern Line from South Wimbledon to Stockwell now have continuous coverage.
TfL also stated that work is underway to extend tunnel coverage to Morden and Kennington by the end of the summer.
The Bank branch of the Northern Line between Euston and Bank is also being covered for the first time.
Coverage is being extended on the Victoria Line between Vauxhall and Pimlico.
The Jubilee Line's coverage will be expanded next, beginning at Swiss Cottage and connecting with existing coverage at Westminster.
Major interchange stations such as Green Park and King's Cross St Pancras, as well as more sections of the Victoria line from Green Park to Brixton, will receive high-speed mobile service for the first time during the next phase of construction.
