Asset Management Firm CEO Dies Unexpectedly
AGF Management Ltd. revealed today that Kevin McCreadie, the firm's CEO and CIO, died unexpectedly.

McCreadie joined AGF in 2014, having previously worked for PNC Capital Advisors, Mercantile Capital Advisors, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management in the United States.

"The entire AGF team is devastated by the loss of Kevin, our colleague and leader," said Blake Goldring, AGF's Executive Chairman, in a statement.  "His impact on our business and its personnel has been tremendous and long-lasting.  We send our heartfelt sympathies to the McCreadie family during this difficult time.

The statement recognized McCreadie's "pivotal role" in shaping modern asset management firms.  It expresses his enthusiasm for investment management and his commitment to developing future talent in the sector.

The AGF Board of Directors has implemented its succession plan processes and appointed Judy Goldring as CEO.  Goldring is already AGF's President and Head of Global Distribution.  She has more than 30 years of expertise in the sector, having joined AGF as General Counsel in 1998.

"We have full confidence in Judy's ability to lead the firm given her profile, vision, and demonstrated leadership skills," Blake Goldring said in a statement.  "She has the complete support of the AGF team and our Board of Directors...  The Board is fully confident in the AGF team's ability to drive long-term success for the benefit of all stakeholders."
