PlayStation Leak Reveals Upcoming Assassin’s Creed Game

A recent leak from PlayStation suggests that a new Assassin's Creed game may be on the way, though it remains unclear if it pertains to the anticipated next installment, Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, Assassin's Creed Code Invictus, or one of the remakes. Regardless, the announcement of a new Assassin's Creed title isn't particularly surprising — naturally — but the intriguing part is that the leak suggests it will be launched soon. The origin of this recent leak can be traced back to the PlayStation Network itself.
On the social media site X, PlayStation Game Size has reported a new update to the PSN backend, which seems to indicate a forthcoming Assassin's Creed game. Sadly, while this indicates that something is imminent,As per previous reports, Ubisoft plans to launch Assassin's Creed Codename Invictus later this year. Initially described as a compact, experimental multiplayer title, its original timeline suggested a 2025 release. However, this latest news remains the most likely scenario at present, even though Ubisoft has not officially validated the existence of the game.
Regrettably, all we have at this moment is speculation. What seems clear is that a new installment from Assassin's Creed is set to be released soon, probably before the year's end, and it will not be the Assassin's Creed Shadows DLC, which is already in the pipeline.
As of this writing, Ubisoft has not addressed this leak or the speculation it has generated. We do not anticipate this will change for various reasons, but if it does, we will revise the article accordingly.
