Lewis Capaldi Set to Return to New Zealand for 2025 Arena Tour
Lewis Capaldi is returning to New Zealand with two arena gigs set for late 2025.

The Scottish singer-songwriter will play in Christchurch's Wolfbrook Arena on Sunday, November 30, and Auckland's Spark Arena on Tuesday, December 2nd.

The singer took two years off to work on his mental health, which included canceling two sold-out gigs in New Zealand, to get his "physical and mental health in order" and to "adjust to the impact of my Tourette's".

Wellington, which was previously cancelled from the 2023 tour, is not on the itinerary this time around.

This will be Capaldi's first visit to New Zealand since his performance at Auckland Town Hall in 2019.

Tickets will be issued in stages, starting with a presale for prior ticket holders on Thursday, July 10 at 11 a.m., followed by a Secret Sounds presale on Friday, July 11.  General public sales begin Monday, July 14, at noon.

Capaldi's previous album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, topped the charts and featured three UK number ones. His Netflix documentary, How I'm Feeling Now, received international praise.

Capaldi returned to the stage last month with a 'surprise Glastonbury appearance and an emotional new ballad titled "Survive" about his tribulations.

When Capaldi returned to the stage at Glastonbury in an unexpected but highly anticipated performance, he appeared to be doing much better.

"The last two years for me haven't been the best, it's been difficult," he told the audience.

"Second time's the charm on this one," Capaldi stated.  "I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn't finish last time."

The 28-year-old shot to prominence in 2017 with the independent release of his first single, Bruises, which made him the first unsigned artist to exceed 25 million Spotify plays.

Secret Sounds, Live Nation, and WME present the tour.
