Cole Davies to Team Up with Lawrence Brothers at AUSX Open

Cole Davies, a rising star, has been confirmed to compete in the AUSX Open on November 22 at Melbourne, Australia's Marvel Stadium.
Despite not competing in the final, the 17-year-old Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing rider had a stellar season in Monster Energy AMA Supercross, winning AMA Rookie of the Year after two race victories and third place in the 250SX West Division points.
After suffering a terrible injury in the season finale in Salt Lake City, the New Zealander has lately started riding again, with a comeback to Pro Motocross anticipated later this summer.
In the announcement, Davies stated, "I'm truly thrilled to be competing at the AUSX Open in Melbourne this November." "I'm thrilled to give back to a community that has supported me from the beginning, and it's about as close to a home race as it gets for me." Despite how busy we are in the United States, the AUSX Open has become one of those legendary events that I've always wanted to be a part of. A huge thank you to Star Racing Yamaha for supporting me in this endeavor. I can't wait to get a few more gate drops in before the 2026 season begins!
With additional international riders to be revealed, Davies joins an already competitive field that also includes Australians Jett and Hunter Lawrence.
AUSX Open Director Kelly Bailey stated, "Cole is one of the most promising young riders in the world of Supercross, and his return to Australia is a massive moment for fans across both Australia and New Zealand." This is looking to be the strongest and most anticipated group we've ever seen, with the Lawrence brothers, Australia's top players, and formidable international competitors yet to be revealed. This November, fans are in for an incredible experience, and there is still a ton of news to share! Keep an eye out!
