Garrison Brown, the 25-year-old son of Sister Wives star, passes away
The 25-year-old son of Sister Wives actresses Janelle and Kody Brown, Garrison Brown, passed away.

The revelation was shared on Instagram by Janelle, who has been a regular since 2010 on the TLC reality show about the life of a polygamist family.

"We are very sorry to inform you of the passing of our lovely son, Robert Garrison Brown. He was a source of joy and positivity for everyone he came into contact with," she wrote. We shall be left speechless at the void his loss has left in our lives. Please respect our privacy and join us in paying tribute to his memory.

According to confirmation provided to People magazine by Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department, "on 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home."According to the FPD, Gabriel, Garrison's 22-year-old brother, "discovered Mr. Brown deceased" in what appeared to be a suicide.

"At this time there is no indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating," Lt. Hernandez said in his statement.

In a statement, TLC said, "We are devastated to hear of Garrison Brown's tragic demise. We send the Brown family our sincere condolences and best sympathy during this trying time.

Garrison had been a cast member of Sister Wives since the beginning. The programme centres on Kody Brown, his wife Robyn (née Sullivan), his ex-wives Meri (née Barber), Janelle (née Schriever), and Christine (née Allred), as well as their 18 children (three of whom were raised by Robyn and her former spouse David Preston Jessop, six of whom were raised by Janelle and Christine, and one by Meri).

The family moved to Lehi, Utah, at the start of the series, then to Las Vegas in 2011 and finally to Flagstaff, Arizona, in the middle of 2018.

Following her "spiritual union" marriage to Kody in 1993, Janelle and Kody had Madison, Logan, Garrison, Gabriel, Hunter, and Savanah as their joint children. Janelle disclosed that she and Kody had split up in December 2022.
Five days ago, Garrison announced that he had recently adopted a cat in his most recent social media post.

He posted a picture of himself cuddling the cat and commented, "Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons." "My saviour complex couldn't suffice; she was on the verge of euthanasia and was nine years old."

During a 2023 Sister Wives episode, Kody talked about the challenges he was facing with his boys.

He admitted at the time, "I haven't been in touch with Gabriel and Garrison for quite a while." The fact that I'm no longer close to them makes me sad. We just did so many rich, memorable things together throughout our lives; they were truly unique experiences.

"I think and hope that we'll just get over this and that we'll be safe being around each other again," he continued. There's not exactly an open door between Gabe and Garrison at the moment. They are unwilling to interact with me.

Jannelle said to Us Weekly last year of the father and sons' connection: "I feel like when there's static in relationships, especially in a parental relationship, it does affect your life. Even if they maybe don't reconcile, but they come to a peace."

"When they don't have a good relationship with their dad, it does affect them." Thus, I'm expecting that things will improve in the future.
