The 44-year-old former professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, Robin Windsor, passed away.

From 2010 to 2013, he costarred with Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, Lisa Riley, and Deborah Meaden in the BBC One programme.

"Heartbreaking" was how Strictly Come Dancing co-host Claudia Winkleman put the news of Windsor's passing.

Tess Daly, the presenter, stated that Windsor had "gone too young" and that the news was really sad.

"Your infectious personality, energy and talent will be deeply missed by all who knew you," Daly stated. "My heart goes out to your loved ones at this time."

Presenter of Good Morning Britain Susanna Reid broke down in tears when she revealed Windsor's passing on Tuesday."He was a remarkable dancer, incredibly strong, so creative, he was just so enthusiastic about dancing," she stated. "I just adored him, he was the most incredible personality, there was something very special about him."

Reid and Windsor danced in a Strictly Come Dancing special for Children in Need. In the 2015 Christmas special, he was paired with Alison Hammond, the host of Great British Bake Off.

"One of the kindest, gentle, honest, funny and caring people I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with" is how Craig Revel Horwood, the longest-serving judge on Strictly, put Windsor.

"I shall always miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."

Shirley Ballas, the chief judge of Strictly, continued, saying, "I'm really grieved to learn the terrible news about this wonderful human being this morning.

"Robin Windsor is a gentlemanly, polite, gentle, and incredibly diligent individual. A lovely dancer, a kind man, a kind spirit, and really youthful."Reid and Windsor danced together on a 2011 Strictly Come Dancing special for Children in Need. In 2012, actress Lisa Riley—who starred alongside Windsor—posted on social media: "My best friend, my angel, our forever angel—who is loved and will always be loved—forever in my heart.

"I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven."

This Morning carried a statement from Hammond that stated, in part, "I'm completely heartbroken." He was a pleasure to be around and one of the kindest persons I've ever worked with.

"I danced with him for the Strictly Christmas special, and those were really memorable moments. My sympathies are with his friends and family."

"His extraordinary ability to express emotion through movement captivated audiences, leaving them spellbound with every step," Sisco Entertainment said in a statement to BBC News announcing Windsor's passing.Actress Lisa Riley declared that Windsor would live "forever in my heart" after they danced together on Strictly Come Dancing.Beyond his flawless dancing, Robin's exuberant personality brightened the room and added a contagious warmth and vitality to both sessions and performances.

"His generosity was unbounded, and his humour infectious. Everyone who had the honour of knowing him treasured his friendship. You will be sorely missed, Robin."

James Jordan, a former Strictly professional, stated: "I had the pleasure of working with this man on Strictly for many years; I have very happy memories of him." He was a pleasure to be around and always very caring.

"From his professional colleagues to his celebrity partners, everyone who came into contact with him loved him. My old friend, you will be missed."

Burn The Floor, a ballroom dance company, said that it has "lost one of its founding members."Deborah Meaden, star of Dragons' Den, was one of Windsor's partners.
They posted a statement on social media that read, "He danced with us for 20 years, including Broadway, the West End, and all our crazy adventures around the world." "He leaves a void in our hearts."

According to his website, Windsor was born in Suffolk and started dancing at the age of three when his parents registered him in classes in Ipswich.

At the age of 15, he relocated to London in order to pursue a career in dance. He then went on to represent England in a number of national and international competitions.

Windsor also made appearances on Dancing with the Stars Australia and So You Think You Can Dance in Holland in addition to Strictly.

Most recently, Windsor was starring in a tribute to Moulin Rouge called Come What May.

2014 saw him forced to leave Strictly Come Dancing due to persistent back issues.

Windsor collaborated closely with the Sane Charity and was an advocate for mental health.

Co-host of Strictly Come Dancing Claudia Winkleman called it "heartbreaking" in an Instagram comment, and former professional dancer Oti Mabuse wrote, "Robin was one of the kindest, loving, professional, creative& beautiful humans."

"Absolutely devastated to hear the sad news about Robin, a person I've known for the best part of 25 years - from a young competitor to a star of Strictly Come Dancing," expressed professional dancer turned judge Anton Du Beke's feelings.

"He was always a star in my eyes. Robin, we shall miss you."

Arlene Phillips, a former judge, stated on BBC Morning Live that Robin was the strongest Latin dancer a person could ask for. Every step had the drama of Latin infused into it.

"I frequently organise charity events, and if I were to call Robin and say, 'I need a dancer,' she would be there."

"He was polite and gentle, and there was something really beautiful about him—he was motivated and passionate. And his youth has shattered me. In my opinion, he is still a baby. We shall miss him terribly, terribly, terribly."
