Ventaneando Host Daniel Bisogno Dies at Age 51

Daniel Bisogno, a Mexican television personality and actor, has died at the age of 51.
The news was confirmed by Ventaneando, the TV Azteca program where he has worked for decades. "It is with deepest sadness that we regret to report news we never wanted to give: our beloved Daniel Bisogno has just passed away due to complications he suffered after the liver transplant he underwent last September," stated the statement on Ventaneando's Instagram site.
Bisogno has faced major health challenges in recent years. Doctors admitted him to the hospital many times in 2023, diagnosing him with esophageal varicose veins, a rectal fissure, and COVID-19. In early 2024, he returned to the hospital with a lung infection.
He received a liver transplant in September 2024, but there were serious complications. Daniel's brother, Alejandro Bisogno, announced on the TV Azteca show on February 12 that he was "very delicate."
Bisogno had been a regular on Mexican television since joining Ventaneando in 1997. He quickly became one of the show's most famous characters because of his sharp wit and outspoken nature.
Despite his health challenges, he remained hopeful and participated remotely in Ventaneando's 29th-anniversary party, telling his co-hosts, "These 29 years have been wonderful in life..." The best thing is a life that has provided me with both pleasant and negative experiences."
Following Daniel Bisogno's passing, colleagues and business luminaries expressed respect. Pati Chapoy, his longtime co-host, wrote, "With immense sadness, I inform you that Daniel Bisogno has died." According to Grupo Salinas Vice President Benjamín Salinas, "He will always be remembered with great affection by the entire Azteca family."
