Singer Jessie J Undergoes Surgery Following Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Singer Jessie J has undergone breast cancer surgery and is currently recovering at home while waiting for the findings.
The 37-year-old celebrity praised her doctor, surgeon, and "all the nurses who cared for me" in a social media post, sharing a series of photographs and videos from her hospital stay.
She described the post as the "honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours" and promised to "always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through".
The Essex singer revealed her early breast cancer diagnosis in early June, and she received tremendous support from colleagues for sharing her story.
She stated at the time that she would have the surgery following her performance at Capital's Summertime Ball, a mini-festival hosted at London's Wembley Stadium on June 15.
On Monday night, Jessie J posted photographs of her partner Chanan Safir Colman and their son visiting her in the hospital.
One of the videos provided was of her singing in a hospital bed while waiting for surgery.
Another video showed her after surgery holding up a container of blood drained from her breasts, which she quipped was a "goji berry smoothie".
'Absolute warrior'
The pop artist expressed her gratitude to everyone who assisted her during the treatment procedure and encouraged others facing similar challenges.
"I'm still hugging everyone who is now going through a difficult time. "We've got this!" she wrote.
Fans and industry colleagues have already sent their well wishes and expressions of support.
Gaby Roslin, a TV personality, commented in the comments: "Sending you strength, energy, and so much love, you beautiful soul."
