Toccoa Resident Wins $300K as Georgia Lottery Streak Grows

There's a lucky streak rolling across Northeast Georgia, and Toccoa is the latest stop.
According to lottery officials, a Toccoa resident recently won $293,691 by playing the Georgia Lottery's Jackpot Bankroll Diggi Game on the mobile app. The digital triumph joins an increasing list of significant payments in the region this summer.
Just days before, a Fantasy 5 ticket purchased at Underdogs of Toccoa earned another player $183,790 in the July 22 drawing. The winning ticket matched all five numbers: 07, 13, 20, 31, 32.
The Toccoa wins come after a string of previous lotto winners in the area. On July 18, a player in Dahlonega won $3 million in the "100X The Money" scratcher game. The winning ticket was purchased from Fast Stop on Morrison Moore Parkway West.
Two Gainesville natives have also hit it big. On June 20, one player claimed a $2 million Mega Millions prize using a ticket purchased through the Georgia Lottery mobile app. Another Gainesville resident won $1 million on July 3 by playing the Millionaire Maker scratch-off.
