An intimate and exclusive wedding ceremony
Tyne told PEOPLE at the TV Academy's inaugural Televerse Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 16, that the wedding was "very exclusive, very, very private." She also stated that the ceremony took place at Tim and Leoni's "beautiful apartment in New York." Tyne confirmed that the couple intends to throw a larger party later, with more loved ones in attendance.
Tyne explained her absence by saying, "They only had people that they gave birth to or people who gave birth to them," meaning that the couple's wedding guests were confined to their parents and children.

Here's what Tyne Daly is planning for Téa Leoni.
Despite missing the event, Tyne said she will see the newlyweds shortly. She is also preparing a Christmas gift for Leoni. Tyne was joined in conversation with PEOPLE by Amy Brenneman, her former Judging Amy co-star, who confirmed that Tyne has been knitting something special for Leoni. "This is a secret. I can't tell you what the present is. Nobody likes surprises anymore,” Tyne said.
Following the wedding, a visitor posted a photo online of Leoni holding a little bouquet of white flowers and smiling alongside her 26-year-old daughter West Duchovny, whom she shares with ex David Duchovny.

Tyne Daly and Amy Brenneman rejoin
Tyne and Brenneman discussed reuniting for their chat after several years apart at the Televerse Festival. Tyne stated that they had not been aggressive in staying in touch over the last two decades, since Judging Amy ended in 2005. "You make all these promises, and then life happens," Tyne explained. "While the show was on, she was busy having babies. Throughout my presentation, I was having babies. We have drifted apart."
Brenneman instantly noted that reconnecting was simple. "It takes about two seconds" to resume their friendship.
