Justin Bieber Makes Bold Statement with Surprise Album
The album contains 20 songs with titles such as Dadz Love, Devotion, and Therapy Session, and it was released in response to online concerns about the singer's mental health following a clash with photographers.

One footage, taken on Father's Day when he accosted a photographer, shows the musician stating, "I'm a father.  I am a husband.  You aren't getting it.  It's not timed for you.  "I am standing on business."

The video was widely shared and remixed online.  It is being used not just to promote the singer's new album, but also as a sample in one of its songs, Butterflies.

Swag, which has a runtime of just under an hour, has the teen icon-turned-megastar working with a slew of rappers such as Sexxy Red, Cash Cobain, and Gunna.

Its title appears to be a reference to the singer's 2012 hit Boyfriend, which included the line "swag, swag, swag, on you".

The Canadian singer's promotional photos show his wife, Hailey Bieber, and his son, who is often hoisted above his head.

Fellow musicians and fans have reacted enthusiastically to Bieber's new song, which arrives four years after his last album, Justice.

US rapper Big Sean was among the notable personalities to greet the album's release, commenting on the singer's Instagram photo with the words "Yes!!!!"
