Quinta Brunson Files for Divorce from Husband Kevin Anik After 3 Years of Marriage

Los Angeles (AP) — Quinta Brunson's three-year, largely private relationship with her husband has ended.
Brunson, the actress and creator of ABC's successful sitcom "Abbott Elementary," filed for divorce from Kevin Anik on Wednesday.
According to her filing in Los Angeles Superior Court, the couple signed an agreement after marriage to share their assets in the event of a divorce. They have no children; therefore, the divorce should be simple, and facts about the split should be kept private.
Anik and Brunson dated for several years before marrying in October 2021, yet they kept their relationship discreet. Brunson praised Anik when she won an Emmy in 2022, which People magazine called the first public confirmation of their marriage, then again in September when she won the Emmy for Best Comedy Actress.
People and other sources' descriptions of Brunson and Anik's relationship contain minimal specifics about him, with the actor referring to him as "the most supportive man I've ever known" when accepting an Emmy for writing "Abbott Elementary" in 2022.
The divorce paperwork does not specify when the couple split.
The application was initially published on Thursday by celebrity website TMZ.
