The Most Baffling New Car on the Market Today
When considering the purchase of a new car, there are many aspects to take into account. Does it fit within my financial plan? Is it suitable for my intended use? How does it stack up against other models? One question that isn’t asked enough is: Is this vehicle foolish? That question is what inspired today’s exploration.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on what you think is the most foolish car available right now. Importantly, I’m not asking for your opinion on what you see as the worst car on the market. I’ve already sought your input on that, and this query is distinctly different in nature. I won’t specify particular criteria for determining a dumb car.

It's your decision. It could be considered foolish due to its dimensions (whether large or small), foolish based on its design, foolish because of its engine, or foolish due to its poor battery life. This is your reality, my friend. I'm merely here to experience it.

If you were to inquire about my opinion on this topic — which you didn’t, but I’m in control — I would likely respond with something like the Tesla Cybertruck. While it’s undoubtedly one of the most ridiculous cars available currently, that’s too straightforward of an answer, so I’ll assert that the Toyota Mirai is the most nonsensical vehicle you can buy right now.

Keep in mind that I don't consider the Mirai to be the worst car available, since that title belongs to the Cybertruck, but it certainly has its drawbacks.

While it’s an attractive luxury sedan with a decent interior, the type of fuel it uses makes all of that unimportant. The Mirai primarily operates on hydrogen, and there are only 51 hydrogen refueling stations across the United States, all located in California. This means the vehicle is practically ineffective outside of California. If you plan to take it on a road trip, forget it; you won’t find any hydrogen refueling stations elsewhere.

There’s a clear reason why the sales of the Mirai are dropping and losing value quicker than you can finish reading this.

Perhaps hydrogen will gain traction someday, making the Mirai a sensible option, but that day is not today. This is why I think the Mirai is the most ill-conceived vehicle currently on the market.

Alright, I’ll stop rambling now. I believe it’s your turn to comment below and share what you think is the most foolish automobile available now. The car manufacturers won’t be angry with you. And, as usual, if you explain why you think a particular vehicle is foolish, I’ll reward your insights with $15 Chili's gift cards.
