After making it to the final of the National Esports Championships (NESC), which were run by the Esports Federation of India (ESFI), Charanjot Singh and Karman Singh Tikka were eligible to compete in the Asian Games.

India's top-ranked FIFA Online 4 player is Charanjot Singh. After winning the Asian Games 2023 South Asia seeding competition in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, the 20-year-old was awarded an advantageous draw.

Karman Singh Tikka, who goes as tikkatown in-game, came in fifth place during the seeding competition. The 20-year-old Delhi native won the Community Cup the previous year and finished second in the first ever eISL championships.

Starting in the Round of 32, Charanjot Singh and Karman Singh Tikka both began their Asian Games 2023 careers.

Without mentioning the grand final and qualifying round, the FC 24 event has a double elimination format, meaning a player can only be eliminated after losing two ties.

Following the winners' bracket final, the 16 victors from the Round of 32 advance to the winners' bracket where they will compete against one another to determine the winner of the tournament.

In the meantime, the losers' bracket is opened by the 16 losing teams from the Round of 32.

Every other round (2, 4, and 6) the losers from the winners' bracket will continue to descend to the losers' bracket to play against the teams making advancement from previous rounds. In the losers' bracket final, the loser of the winners' bracket final and the victor of the losers' bracket round 7 will square off.

In the losers' bracket final, the losing team will take home the bronze medal, and the winner will play for the gold medal in the grand final against the eventual champions of the winners' bracket. The Asian Games 2023 FC Online tournament will use a best-of-three match format for all ties.

There are 36 esports competitors competing in the Asian Games 2023 FC Online event, representing 21 different countries.
