Evin Lewis Smashes 91 as West Indies Crush Ireland, Seal Series

West Indies racked up their second-highest Twenty20 international innings on Sunday, defeating Ireland by 62 runs to win a rain-soaked three-game series 1-0.
West Indies posted 256-5 after being sent in at Bready Cricket Club, thanks to an opening stand of 122 in 10.3 overs from Evin Lewis (91 runs in 44 balls) and captain Shai Hope (51 in 27).

Ireland responded with 194–7. Ross Adair (48 in 36 overs) and Harry Tector (38 in 25 overs) helped Ireland reach 114-1 before being bowled out for 116-4 after 12 overs.
The first and second games were cancelled due to rain.
In May, the two teams drew a three-match One-Day International series 1-1 in Dublin before England whitewashed the West Indies 3-0 in the ODI and T20 series.

The West Indies will host Australia for a three-test series beginning June 25 in Barbados, followed by a five-game T20 series. Australia suffered a setback in the World Test Championship final to South Africa in London over the weekend.
