Gemini Now Offers Document Summarization and Key Point Extraction for Android Users

Google has increased its chatbot Gemini's support for Docs. Android users can now use the chatbot when browsing documents on Docs. For example, the smartphone user can ask Gemini to summarise the contents of the document, ask questions about it, or hunt for insights and crucial points. Furthermore, Gemini in Docs is available for Android in over 20 languages. This new functionality is exclusively available to Google Workspace Business Plan users.
This latest Google update enables users to work more quickly without having to transfer between apps for AI access or download additional apps. It will be available to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise (Standard and) users. Users of Gemini Education and Gemini Education Premium who use Docs will also receive this on Android.
With this new integration, Android smartphone users will be able to get a summary of a lengthy study report without having to read the entire report. This also helps to understand the context of the report while commuting and saves the more extended reading for later. Before entering a meeting, users can ask Gemini-specific questions regarding a topic contained in the paper to gain a better understanding of particular essential points.
Gemini in Docs may also help you quickly develop a first draft of a launch strategy using a simple prompt after a team brainstorm when the information is still fresh in your mind.
Gemini received a significant upgrade this week, adding a new feature dubbed 'Scheduled Actions' to Android. This functionality is also exclusive to Gemini Pro and Gemini Ultra members. As the name suggests, this function allows users to create daily chores or reminders, which Gemini will then remind them of. For example, consumers can request that Gemini provide them with early news every day.
